Reflexology is based on the ancient Chinese philosophy that we have twelve major nerve meridians or nerve passageways running through our bodies, and that they all end in and around the feet, hands and ears. So, by working these areas, fuller health can be expressed by the corresponding tissue, gland or organ in our bodies.

Aromatherapy is another way healing is supported. Essential oils, the hormone-like substances of plants, are used to treat emotional disorders such a stress and anxiety, as well as a wide range or other ailments. The oils are massaged into the skin, inhaled, or placed in baths. Aromatherapy is often used in conjunction with muscle therapy, acupuncture, reflexology, herbology, chiropractic and other holistic treatments.

Herbology is the study of the healing properties of herbs that grow all around us. To a herbalist any plant used for medicinal purposes is an herb. Any leaf, flower, bark, root, seed, sap, berry, mushroom or seaweed used for healing is considered a healing herb. I am studying herbs and how to use them to help people...how to use them in as fresh a way, as close to their living, vital, natural state as possible.
